Analog Heat audio codec chip

Hello there,
Is there any information about which audio codec chip is installed in analog heart. Interested in the internal circuitry of AH. And maybe someone has a photo of the insides of AH ?

Thank you !!!

A codec or an audio codec is a device or computer program which encodes or decodes a digital data stream, or a signal that has been converted to one. The name stands for code / decode, and it is often used for compression of data.

It is a digital process.

The Analog Heat does its audio processing in ANALOG.

Hence the digital part of the Heat is for control of the system, and to convert the analog signals to and from a digital stream sent and received from the computer.

The cool audio processing part of the Heat is analog. So perhaps you are interested in analog audio distortion circuits ?

Or are you asking what is the chip maker of the ADC and DAC chips in the Heat ? Or are you asking about Overbridge ? Or are you asking something else ?

( The links are are to Wikipedia pages. )

Codec is another word for ADC/DAC chips as well

Sorry, don’t remember what chip is in there.

It does audio over usb both in and out, that needs conversion, the two control inputs take cv, I guess that is converted as well to modulate/control stuff inside the Heat, then the envelope follower?
