Do any of you use the Analog heat as a DI box for a guitar or bass? I’m thinking of getting a Countryman DI box but I’ve been getting fairly good results with just going into my AH with my bass.

AH outputs are not balanced, but inpedance balanced. I’m not sure if it’s enough for long cables. DIs outputs are balanced.

…balancing the unbalanced…is exactly what a di box does…so, nope, heat is not doing the trick…
but surely it can do nice things with ur bass input…in the studio…not on stage…

maybe this is the proper thread for my question, im gonna set up a signal chain like this
passive bass guitar->analog heat->DI box->audio interface, will this work ? thx in advance
