So I want something like the analog heat but with a little bit more. I’m looking for a drive/colour box that has a master filter but also takes at least 2 separate inputs. I also need class compliant audio so that I can record directly to my iOS device. Is there anything out there?
Heat +FX is probably your best bet tbh. Class compliant with possibility for 2x mono inputs (though I’m not sure if they can be processed totally separately), all of what you want with extra colour FX. Oto Boum is the only alternative to my mind but that’s not USB audio as far as I know.

The new Hologram Electronics pedal is the closest to the Heat+FX im not sure its class compliant, and most definitely not as deep.
Im tempted by it, but my heart is too sold on the HFx

OTO Boum is an alternative, but having recently sold mine I cannot say it’s what I personally gelled with. OTO Bim and Bam are amazing, Boum was a bit too much distortion for my taste

I don’t think it can be 2 mono inputs (similar to the Analog heat).

If you can’t get an AH… take the software route with an alternative (FabFilter Saturn would be my choice there).

Yea, if you are already using iOS Saturn 2 is right there and sounds amazing. I sold my Analog Heat and use that. For extreme distortion I still prefer analog gear, but for warming and light distortion I honestly like it more than I did the Heat.

Surprisingly, the Fractal Audio FM3 is pretty close IMO.
