Analog Four MKII Bag/Pouch/Sleeve, a joyful quest

Hello,

I’ve seen several topics like this one, but for the dust cover, or people waiting for Elektron to produce a bag for their device.

For those of you who aren’t strong at waiting, what pouch are you currently using for your A4 MKII?

I need someting that would fit the device when I carry it in my backpack, without adding too much to the size. I’ve looked into photographer gear, and also hardcases at UDG, but found nothing really satisfying.

Any hints?

Thanks!

Okay my good dudes,

Taking one for the team! I bought online: https://www.udggear.com/by-device/arturia/drumbrute/udg-creator-controller-hardcase-medium-black

And I will report here if it fits when I get it. It’s a bit too big but hopefully it will fit both the device and my backpack.

My dudes,

How wrong can one be? In my case - pun intended - very wrong.

Shit’s way too big (but looks sturdy af, good job UDG) so I’m going to send it back and meanwhile I’m taking suggestions!

I really need it to fit into my backpack tho!

While I was waiting, I’ve made an unholy contraption: the Custom Pouch 9000©.

It’s basically three layers of bubble wrap tied together with brown tape, with a nice opening at the top.

I would love to find the same thing, but in the material they make the DSLR bags inserts with. I’ve searched in that direction, but a DSLR camera and an Analog Four have no proportions in common!

My dudes, I found the light.

After struggling to find a pouch that would fit online, crafting requests like a madman, I lost hope.

So I decided to make an even better contraption, the likes of which have never been seen before.

I cut an old 15$ gym mat - who needs abs when you have synths! - following a meticulously crafted plan of mine:

Behold, my masterpiece, the Lame Backpack Armor 9001:

I’m exhausted, I shall now sleep.

Actually, Thomann’s Producer Bag is pretty good for this.
I use a PL-2 to cover the knobs, and it fits well enough for the moment…

I dont know the size of this bag but do you think we can put two MK2 in this bag? With protective lid ?

I bought the same bag made by UDG (https://www.udggear.com/udg-ultimate-producerbag-small-black-orange-inside) and it can accommodate two MKII (I don’t know for the lid as there isn’t one yet)

Edit: didn’t know about the lid, that is apparently now available https://www.elektron.se/accessories/protective-lid-pl-3/ . I don’t think it adds much height so I’ll say yes.
