A bit, MIDI messages still a bit confuse for me…
I am trying to map Digitone knobs now
I have Digitone sending program changes on channel 15 and it is going ok, I am now trying to work out how to map the Mobious’ knobs to Digitone MIDI knobs
I suggest to put the Mobius on Channel 15 and the Big Sky on Channel 16 and use Auto Channel (Channel 9 or 10) on the OT for the Pattern Change between your devices. The Auto Channel of the A4, AR and DN has to be on the same Auto Channel as the OT.
So the MIDI Track T1 on the DN will control the Mobius on Channel 15 and the MIDI Track T2 on the DN will control the Big Sky on Channel 16.
Are you familiar with the Auto Channel?
No… I am not familiar with Auto Channel… I had both Pedal’s on channel 16 since this channel is the one receiving program changes from octatrack but having booth on channel 16 makes it difficult to map…
I will try Auto Channel and see if that works
I I have them on Auto channel but now Mobious and big sky are in a different channels and they are not receiving program changes…
The Auto Channel will be responsible for the Pattern Change between your devices. So if you are on Pattern A01 on the OT and you switch to A02 on the OT, the other devices (DN, A4 and AR) will switch automatically to Pattern A02.
The DN will be responsible for the Program Change (Presets) of your pedals. It’s two separate things.
You have to set it on the DN. I will guide you through all the pages of the DN MIDI Tracks. Just be sure the Mobius is on Channel 15 and BS on Channel 16.

Select MIDI Track T1 on the DN.
Press the SYN1 page.
Hold FUNC button and Press encoders A, B and D to enable them.
Set the CHAN (first square) to 15.
Set BANK to 1.
Set PROG to whatever Program you want on the Mobius (if you rotate Encoder D, you will see the Presets changing on your pedal).
Place a Trig on the first Step of the Sequencer.
Repeat the same steps on MIDI Track T2 of the DN but set the CHAN to 16.
Is it working?
If it works, I will explain the AMP page of the DN MIDI Tracks.
Yes man, Nice and smooth… thanks so much… after a day of headache trying to get them working on A4, I now I feel relived…
The AMP page is already mapped
And you are using the FLTR page to tweak the pedal’s parameters?
yes, all set and working, I placed a trig and the P.Locks is working ok too
And don’t forget that you have an LFO for each MIDI Track and that you can record automation in the DN Sequencer.

I may ask you anther question about Digitone which it was putting me off about the synth…
On A4 and RYTH we have performance knob, so digitone we don’t, I know we have Pitchbend, Aftertouch ModWheel and so on, but to access it is annoying… How do you use those functions without going back into menu diving?
If you have a Keyboard with Mod Wheel, Pitch Bend and/or Aftertouch connected to the DN via MIDI, you can control up to 4 parameters of the DN for each one of them (you can call this Macros). You will find this by holding FUNC and pressing Trig (Setup) page. If you scroll down that Menu, you will see, as an example, Modulation Wheel. Press Yes and you will see the Setup for the Mod Wheel Macro.
