Analog four input played samples from Overbridge. What become OSC?

Hello all !

Edit : I UP today may this subject.
Before, with old OB and A4 versions I was able to send audio via usb to a choosen track in analog four (via usb and overbridge) to then use the filter and env, fx’s and trigs of the A4 to manipulate the sound
Today with the new version I cannot do this, It become an issue when I want to choose in overbridge “sidechain output” I cannot see where to choose the outputs… Can you guys please help ?
Thank

I’m inputing and processing some samples played from my Octatrack to Overbridge who send samples with usb to my Analog four.

I want to know what became the two oscillators, can I play them in Overdub with the sounds or are they taking over the inputed signal ?

Other question : Can I use PWM and pitch to change effects on the inputed signal ?

Thank a lot

Hi.
With Osc1 and Osc2 you have to choose between L, R, or an Osc wave so you can use one Osc + input L if you want :
Osc 1 > L
Osc 2 > Saw
You can’t have
Osc 1 > L + Saw
Osc 2 > R + Saw

You can’t use PWM or pitch on inputs.

You also can process input LR with FX only (Ext In, Fx Track) and be free to use Osc 1 and Osc 2 oscillators.

Event with the cutoff frequency follower in the filter ? The filter dont react to pitch or pwm ?

If you use filter keytrack TRK, it depends on midi notes, mini keyboard or recorded notes.

I play from OT some samples and notes and rec in same time on a4; midi 1 track 1 sample 1 live rec on ot and A4 track 1, playing with trk and depth, did the pwm affect trk filter param?

The PMW affects Osc waves only. Usually, on other synth, it is only for pulse waves.
On A4 you can affect all waves, and you can make a saw with the tri wav.

If

OSC2 input R + in OsX put AM2 on and modify the PWM 1 the Inputed sample take some mods from Osc1 pitch+PW

You’re right, I forgot AM !

Oscs are still available for AM even if you choose L or R as wave.
Indeed you can use PWM and Pitch to modulate oscs that will modulate inputs.
Osc 1 > L
Osc 2 > R
AM1 and AM2 on.
You can modulate L with Pitch2 and PWM2
You can modulate R with Pitch1 and PWM1
