Analog 4 MKII - mono manster ouput/centered panning (recording to TASCAM 424 casette deck)

Hi all! First post here on the forum. I’ve learned so much from lurking but could not find anything on this particular issue.

I’m wondering if anyone can help with setting the global output (all 4 tracks and FX) to a ‘mono’ or ‘centered’ audio signal. I don’t want to have any panning Left or Right. I just want the audio to be perfectly centered.

The only reason for this is because I’m trying to record directly to tape and am losing sound (or volume) on panned elements.

More specifically, recording from the headphone output of A4 to an individual track on a TASCAM 424 (MK3) tape machine. Here, I’m losing the sounds from delay FX that are panned. I don’t want to change the FX on the A4 as I want to keep the panning in the tracks for other purposes.

So if anyone knows anything about the 424 tape deck, and recording a balanced/centered singal, then I’d also appreciate any advice on this front.

If not, is there any way to set the global output to mono (or centered) on the A4? Thanks in advance folks!
