RIP Daniel H, who gave me a great deal on an SFX-6 (now owned by @chiasticon) as well as a light blue ELEKTRON shirt, circa 2005. I wore the shirt at my Zero Boys gig at Riot Fest this year, but nobody noticed.

I hope Ryan’s son, your namesake Nils, is having a good life.

I think about him so often!

So do I He was born a few days after my own son. Now and then I look at my son and wonder where Nils is in life, hoping he’s well and having a good life.

I think about him too; guess he’d be a man now? Trust he’s doing well.

I’m reminded by my two every day (adopted) that while early life tragedy is just that, it doesn’t need to define you.
