I have a project where the Amp Envelope doesn’t seem to be working properly.
In this project, the Amp Release refuses to give a sound a long tail no matter what I set it to (even if I set it to infinite!). The sound fades out quickly, at what would probably be a setting of around 64 on the release under normal circumstances. This problem affects presets (ie. I can’t increase the release to a long tail), and it happens even if I clear the track sound completely to have an initial patch.
I have checked the sound settings to confirm there are no velocity mod shenanigans that could have caused this, so I’m a bit lost. I also checked both oscillator settings, then the filter envelopes and LFOs to make sure there wasn’t anything strange going on there.
Just to make it clear, the Amp Release goes to a value of Inf when I turn the encoders as I would expect - it just isn’t having any effect on the sound itself!
As I didn’t have much in the way of patterns saved in this project, I started a new one and the Amp Envelope works just fine there. But that’s curious in itself! I wondered if anyone else had come across this problem/bug, or if there might be something obvious I missed that could have caused it in the old project.
