lfo sent to volume will mute certain trigs depening on settings - you need to experiment for abit to get it sounding were you want it - anyway i got rid of my machinedrum so theres no more love for it these days - got love for ot mk1 tho!!!
If I recall (itās been a while since I bothered with samples on the MD) each Samplebank is saved individually from Snapshots. So you can assign the same Samplebank to multiple Snapshots. Handy to have if you have a favourite and donāt want to load the samples again for another Snapshot.
The Samplebank has limited memory. I assume it has something to do with memory storage when loading your Snapshot for performance. I have never Sampled live, but I assume the sample will cut off when the limit of the Samplebank is reached. Itās quite low and can fill up quite quickly if you have long samples.
I have the last version of the MD so I assume this is good as it gets.
There is also another way to resample into the MD. I remember doing it a while ago, but decided it was not something I would use so dropped it.

You have three settings for the LFO. Trig, Hold and Free. Hold will reset at cycling intervals, depending on its speed setting. I usually use a low setting to get the results I desire.
Set it to square and triangle and try out the mix, which can fun.
Set it to volume for getting varied patters, or try the decay and filters for fun too. In fact try it on a variety of parameters. You can set another LFO to modulate the depth of that LFO too. So cool.

Nice, I remember someone saying that the LFOs span 64 steps on the lowest setting so thatās an extra couple of bars for the mk1

All of my gigs for the last few years have been 90% Machinedrum/MCL with a few auxiliary bits. Still shocked at what you can squeeze out of it. Weird murky dub set I did with my MD and a loose spring reverb tank running into the RAM machines:

Nice track. I love the pads comming from the MM. How is all set up? I see you use all outputs of the MD running into the Bluebox.

I really like the sound of the MD, butā¦
I miss the MNM FX, and most importantly: the oscillator no-reset-on-trig. I know I know, everyone wants osc reset on a drum machine (and it was a common feature request for mnm back in the days).
But I really miss that bouncy organic feel. Any tips ideas thoughts?

Four tracks for the MnM (two wave ens in stereo for the pads, one Sid, one dyn fm for percussion).
Two tracks on the A4 (bass band lead arp).
Several EFM Machines on MD, distributed to six mono outs.
I really need individual outputs for my workarounds (and thatās probably the reason why I donāt use my DN2 very much, as I try to avoid to mix Overbridge and hardware recording environments).

Heads up: Itās still possible to score MD-UW+ versions for a fair price (especially, if the seller advertises not in the appropriate reverb sections and does not have a clue, what he or she is selling).

You might be able to do some kind of subtle noise/trig blend on the LFO, targeting VOL or some other parameter (maybe a synth page param?) to get some variations similar to the MnM in this way

This is how I scored mine, except mine was listed under the cash resisters category on eBay. This was right before they started going nuts in price, so I got a steal and a half. She was dumping it so she could get a Tempest. I wonder what she thinks in hindsightā¦

You have distinct sections on reverb like āmachinedrum mkIIā, āmachinedrum mkII UWā, āmachinedrum mkII UW+ā or whatever.
Mine was not listed in any of them, but titled like āElektron Machine Drumā.
No hint on + Drive at allā¦

Question to the live performers:
Do you only use the main outs A+B?
Currently I do and use the Oto Biscuit on top (which works great).
Using an additional reverb (MDā> Biscuit ā Reverb) on everything?
Could easily be overkill?
(I never managed to get reverbs using the internal reverb I liked 
).

Could be a good question to ask in the Machinedrum topic forum.
Short answer is yes. I run mine into a Model 1.4 mixer.
The mixer has two aux returns and I have reverb and delay them. I can then add the FX to taste during the performance.
Box gated reverb was built for percussive use, so if you want luscious verb best to look outside the box.
