Hi guys, so I buyed a Allen heat MWizard 3 16:2 and I’m having a hard time to conf it as I want to, so I have some questions to do @ the pros here :

1- I have a Elektron analog heat and I want to apply distortion to some channels but not to all, Does anybody has this mixer that can give me a help ?

2- I ve got some hardware stereo synth and this have 16 mono channels, I’m connecting each piece L&R to for example mixer channel 1 and 2, then turn one all to Left, another all to right. Is this the ideal way to connect stereo hardware channels to a mixer that doesn’t have stereo inputs ?

I’m starting to think that i did a bad choice perchasing this mixer

If anybody can give me a help, would be really appreciated

Just looked at the specs. Doesn’t look like there are any busses, but the Heat works well on a send. I’d recommend bringing the return back to its own channel for further eq. Keep it in the 100%wet position and balance the faders and sends for fine tuning your wet/dry balance between instruments
