This is a wish I’d like to bring to the attention of the product designers. All Elektron boxes I own have many many secondary functions accessible with button combinations using the Function button.
But that Function button is systematically placed at the leftmost position in the panel layout. Now when I play live, most of the time I’m accessing functions one-handed. This needs incredible gymnastics, or huge hands, or both, and some button combo’s are simply not possible one-handed.
Please consider, in your futur designs, to place such a crucial button in a location where it’s easy to operated one-handed. I’d go even further and would like to suggest redundancy: two F buttons, strategically placed…
I’m almost at a point where I’m considering open my Elektrons up, and mod them so that I can use a pedal to double the F button!
