Aesthetic opinion: SOMA Rust

In touch with your inner woman? Sexy

I didn’t realize this was a thing… I thought it was just about how it looked… I guess if the rust has some bearing on your manhood then I guess it is not really a finish at that point and corrosion makes it tuff…

The fuck are you on about?

I bought one immediately. I love the actual rust texture. It particularly suits the Lyra-8 aesthetic. This is all subjective anyway, not sure why anyone would state it’s good or bad as an objective fact.

I’ve owned several, black, pink, olive, mint, and this is my favorite. Though I will say the pink has a certain je ne sais quoi.

Does the manual recommend a tetanus shot?

I’ve owned a black one and a white one, (I think one was yours Fin? Or did I sell you one?) - both bossing.

If I buy another one it’d be the rust though for sure. Although I’m now quite tempted by a Lyra-4…

What is it with the Lyra-8 attracting repeat purchase? It’s an observed GAS-related phenomenon.

Sounds familiar, can’t remember which way round it was though.

Well i’m torn between rust and pink. I could get a pink one but leave it on the balcony, so it’ll turn into the rust edition over time …

the rust is cool.

audioscape does something similarish with their “trainwrecked” series. pretty dope if you are into that aesthetic

I think i like it!

Original results have not been replicated. It is a sick colorway, though

I was expecting @Fin25 to confirm or deny…

I have a pink one, so delicious looking and so vile sounding, love it… would rust have been available back then, I might have go for one, they are gorgeous.

Sounds like a metaphor for the Lyra’s feedback synthesis.

Can do neither.

That’s the point and they make it clear, it’s rusting not just rust…

Yeah, but not because of it’s apparent calming qualities.
