very nice !!
Thanks for the download, thanks for being so helpful around here, and thanks for inspiring me (and surely others) to get better sounds out of our gear. Seriously, for the detractors of the A4 and AR - saying it’s weak on bass, shitty converters, whatever the gripe may be - just listen to this and know that the sky’s the limit.
Way to put it down for the elektron crowd and a great representation of two powerhouse machines. Thanks for the post!
Just had a listen to that. Good stuff
great set Adam!!!
I like it, @AdmaJay : 1000 thanks for the track + the description of the workflow behind it.
I find them both really inspirational !
I love how the track evolves in a very natural way, the mixing of your little pieces is very well done Sir.
rad brother, nice work

Thanks. I’ve never programmed the track order of my sets. I’ve always done that live, as a DJ or live performer.
I find it is always best to choose the next track based on instinct and how you, or the crowd, responds.
i really enjoyed it AdamJay
will have to play it again though, didn’t expect it to finish
I cannot say I went that far at the moment : I like merging AR patterns in a Volca Sample way, yet I’m sure I cannot do this for an hour long and reach the coherent evolution you got here [1][2]
Guess I still have to train a lot !
But your set and workflow description made it clear to me that this is the way I want to play. Four hands on 3 machines driven by inspiration. ![]()
For this, thx mate ![]()

Glad you all enjoy the set so much.

Time to work on something new.
Found time this morning to listen: impressive.

After this one i’ve listened too “Adam Jay - Live PA - Oshkosh, WI USA - Feb 18, 2012”.
Elektrons involved here too?
Still at 26:00 and blowing me away from my office chair.

No Elektrons there. Maschine Mk1 + Ableton Live.
