I somehow deleted all the onboard Original Factory Samples on my Analog Rytm. I performed a “factory reset” but it still is silent, it doesnt have the actual sample anymore for BD Hard, etc to play. I know there has to be a way to restore them… Anyone been throught this particular situation before?

Your issue isn’t clear, BD Hard is a synthesis machine, not a sample
What precisely is missing, i.e. what’s not present that should be following a factory reset? There will be patterns, kits, presets and samples on the +drive
And maybe your own content if you didn’t wipe it
It’s possible to remove most stuff but not always all, like some locked factory stuff … but it should be recoverable via a factory reset as mentioned
If you do both EMPTY RESET and FACTORY RESET, it should restore the plusdrive, including all factory samples, no?
After your reply, the next members reply, and elektrons support email, I am convinced that I am performing the factory reset correctly. It says the RESETS are successfully loaded +drive sounds etc. I am now suspicious that I have in my Failed Attempts to connect the Rytm to Ableton Live as a slave device for midi programming, that I have turned “Local Control” to OFF, and don’t remember how to turn it back on… I guess Factory Reset does not “Return Local Control”. I think that my problem is I need to find where to make the Pads trigger Local sounds, and then I should have sound again.
Thank you very much for your replies…
