So, I kind-of decided to go for the APCmk2, but looks like there’s currently no supply.
Wonder if they’re working on a mk3, or it’s just component shortages?
I`m quite happy with this icon Platform M+ for studio mixing
rather small form factor, 9 motorised 110mm faders, rather cheap (i paid 200€ for a used one in perfect shape)
Yea if I were using them for studio mixing it’s different as I mentioned. But I use my mixer live as part of performance and find smoother quick throw faders to be much better for that for the same reason they’re good for DJ’s.
The motorised stuff would be my preference for the DAW, for recall etc. - hopefully the mythical APC40 MKIII has them 
(would be great if it came with resistance settings for different use cases too…)
