I feel that something is a bit off with the pricing I got for the upgrade from Standard 11 to Suite. I purchased Standard for 285 euro a year ago, end of November, and now I am offered “20% discount”, so it is 263 euro to upgrade to Suite, which will bring the total to 548 euro, while at the same time going directly for Suite is 479 euro (same as what Thomann charges) including free upgrade to Live 12.
I did a very dumb move by purchasing Push 3 Standalone a week after their Black Friday deal was over. For some reason I got pumped about it and pulled the trigger. Also, I didn’t notice that I can combine Push 3 purchase with Suite upgrade for additional 179 euro and now I need to cough 263…
I sent several email to their support (the first one 2 weeks ago) to see if something can be done with this, but nobody cares to reply so far…
…hmmmm…if ur on ableton live, suite version is kind of a must…
and once ur into a push3 purchase, not already workin with suite, i don’t get it, why o why, u did not grab the suite uprade right away with it…it was pretty well comunicated, when push3 was fresh out of the box…so many various deal options were on display to choose from…
damn, i feel ur dissapointment, but they can’t think for u…
push3 with suite12 is a no brainer…so bite the bitter apple and just pay that little xtra money…
still not such a bad deal, end of all days…
or stay calm and wait it out…there’ll be new options, once version 12 is really out there around next early spring…
Just pointing out that your initial Standard purchase was at full price and not 20% off, which will have an effect on your total sum.
Going Standard from Thomann currently at €223 then add your Suite upgrade price you posted of €263 ends up at €486, €7 more than purchasing Suite in one sitting
Edit: and your reported €548 is a €51 saved on the regular full Suite price
145 to upgrade from suite to suite. Paid for suite years ago and every upgrade has been a similar price since. Feels like a bit of an investment now, but paying full price at the time was painful. It
…must mention…all this pricing policy was another reason why i left ableton suite with version 8 behind me, used logic again for a decade, just to record hw…and since 2019 i’m just more than happy with bitwigs way more straight forward purchase and pricing policy…
but from where u are right now, there’s only one way…all in and forward into the full live experience…u gonna own the whole package and u gonna be happy…so don’t look back…skip thinking and regrets…u’ll be fine…
