can get 4x4 sidechain with the new plugin which is great but you lose an fx and only good for 4x4 beats
Are there any M4L devices available on the Move? And is there any list similar to the Push M4L lists?
Got it in the mail today. It’s so intuitive! Gotta get some presets and samples from my own library over though, because the stock sounds are quite far from the music I make.

No M4L or plans to use on the platform as far as I know. I recently asked in the Ableton discord about getting Expressive Chords on the Move and they said it will not happen.

I have been predicting that 2.0 will bring some kind of audio track/looping functionality. It is my number 1 hope for this device.

This half of the year I committed to actually learning to play keys finally after being mostly a guitar player for years - I know this is a bit silly but I’m really loving practicing scales and chords on Ableton Move (it’s got a launchkey 37 attached) with In-Key Mode On - the visual color feedback is super nice

In-key is good but worth trying out chromatic mode. Especially if you play guitar - it’s the same layout as the bottom for strings of a guitar or bass. If you set the scale to iirc G major the four “strings” will have the same pitches as well.
I way prefer playing Move/Push pads to keys, much more crossover with guitar.

You mean you are playing the keys on the Novation keyboard and working out what and what doesn’t fit in the particular key? By use of it either not showing up on Move or by getting a hit and getting a light on Move when you get the correct note in the scale?

yea when I play the notes on the launchkey if I don’t see it light up then that means i goofed up

Hope timestreaching for 2.0, and audio tracks for looping would be amazing but only with timestreaching and good audio looping is enough with one drum rack track.
The only thing really left on my Move personal wish list is a simpler Simpler that can do up to 16 slices.
The newer slicing method just doesn’t work for me as I have to keep a whole track (rack) free for it.
