Ableton Move [Archived]

This thread is going to explode when Ableton just announces the Note updates being publicly available, and that they changed the name to Move. Then they announce that an Android version is coming soon. The frenzy of expectations.

Hahah.

Android support for Note and Move being just a midi controller for Note is actually still a very plausible (but disappointing to many) outcome :stuck_out_tongue:

Android music stuff sucks, maybe I need to get a newer phone but theres hardly anything decent and the latency just sucks. I love to see note on it but doubt it

Honestly, a pocketable (not bigger then an aira) bluetooth midi controller and android notes fine if the price is reasonable. If it’s a 300€ controller…then nah thx.

check out koala sampler on android. ITS FIRE

As long as you don’t need external audio (android problem, half the time it doesn’t work…)
Oh and crashed a couple times. But for that price :+1:

I’ve put a hold on a few purchases today of various things I wanted (non-music related and of course non-essential) until the 8th. I hope this shit is worth it…

Every time I scroll past this thread title, I wonder what the Ableton movie is going to be about.

An adaptation of their book about techniques for electronic music, obviously!

Same here, but I have the feeling I’m gonna pass…

Same here to be honest, I’m gonna wait it out and see if what’s what but I’ve put most of my other stuff on eBay today and unless it’s something stellar I’m probably going to get an apc64 and disappear back ITB and be done with the hybrid stuff permanently… push never quite hit the mark for me and I never like the launchpad lines lack of physical faders etc.

I finally ordered a replacement minijack to lightning connector so I can properly dive into the Note beta during my commute, much cheaper for now

Me too, for sure.

I still sometimes see the EP-133 in the corner of my house, looking at me with a sad face, collecting dust, and I haven’t even managed to put some batteries in it yet…

Ableton about to fold after realising everyone’s glued to their phones and not making enough music to support sales.
World in dire straits due to lack of tunes.

Henke goes on a heroic journey (or heroic dose of mushrooms) and concludes ā€œif you can’t beat ā€˜em, join ā€˜emā€ā€¦.cut to A-Team like montage of the team brainstorming then assembling the most practical portable beat making device ever assembled that works with your phones.

Order restored, everyone lives happy ever after and even The Elektronauts all agree on the usefulness of the device, for once.

If this isn’t a moped, I’m going to be angry!

Same. I was about to purchase a grand piano, but I feel like the Move will be a 1:1 replacement for that. Fingers crossed.
