Anyone else experienced a case where mono sequencer randomizes pattern after restarting ableton. Not quite sure happened. But i ve been working on same track for a few days, based on same midi sequence coming out from mono sequencer and now suddenly when i opened again ableton the loop was changed. No idea what happened.
I haven’t experienced this but then again I haven’t used the Mono sequencer in Live. Definitely save any MIDI clips you’re working on just in case you lose them.
I find this ‘return to default’ issue time and time again with sequencers. Like @Claid states, I’d advocate for tracking out MIDI as soon as you have something going that you like, definitely before closing the program. It’s a pain but I also find that that ‘fear’ means I actually make decisions and create clips, variations etc.
