Ableton automatically assigns the L40 pan command to the Syntax that I don't want

Hello everyone,
hope you are doing well. I have a problem like this: I assign the MIDI notes I write in Ableton to separate Synth tracks and make them play. However, Ableton pans tracks 1-2 and 5 to L40. I correct it, but it pans to L40 again. Yes, I know Ableton sends a message to Synth to pan to L40, but I can’t find it. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you

I don’t know much about Ableton but in my experience a track which auto pans in one direction and always returns to that setting is usually either paired with another track as a stereo pair, or has automation recorded which returns it back to this position unless the automation is erased or overwritten.

Maybe there is a track (or 3 tracks) set up but not in use which are panned 40 to the right?

So, if you know where to check these things already in the Live software take a look and if that’s not it, then I hope someone else will be able to help.

Good luck!

Thank you very much for your reply. After reading what you wrote, it suddenly dawned on me :). I fiddled around a bit more and found that I had a midihub connected to the system, so I disabled it and thank goodness it worked. There was probably a conflict. Anyway, I can’t deal with that conflict now, I’ll just carry on making music. Thanks again.
