ABL3 and Push

Hello,
I just bought Audiorealism ABL3 because I like it a lot.

I installed it yesterday and today I am trying it controlled with Push.
There are two parameters I cannot find on the manual and they are #11 and #12.

#11 does something really subtle like modifying a tiny bit the response of the filter.
While #12 sounds like a wavefolder…something really extreme that distorts the sound…

Any ideas where to find more infos about them?

Thanks in advance

Are you using version ABL 3.1? There was a distortion in previous versions of ABL and also a blend between the saw and square when controlled from an external controller. (But I think this was ABL2…)

Anyways, really great 303 software. I’ve made an updated Silverbox skin for ABL3.1 that you can try out if you like, a more polished look then the one that ships with ABL.

Hey there!!
Thanks for your skin…I like it and I’ll download it soon!

So #11 could be definitely the blend.
And #12 that distortion…because it indeed distorts the sound.

It’s weird not a sigle mention on the manual.
I’ll check the one for v2.
Btw I’m on v.3.1

Thanks again for your insight
Cheers

EDIT

playing a bit more with #11 and #12…looks like they interact…maybe a pre-gain(#11) to a distortion(#12).
And looking to other available parameters…there is also a #8 which I really cannot understand what it does.

P.S.
LarsErik…you gave some patterns in there!! I like a LOT “WolfPart 1-2” …great!! and superthank you

Just took a closer look at the parameters available when using ABL3.1 in Maschine and there’s two unnamed there and they do sound similar to drive and distort available in ABL2. Kind of like a fuzz pedal.

Yeah there’s still some factory patterns with my name on them, I don’t remember if I made those for the first version or ABL2 but Mike at AudioRealism have kept them there even for this version. Most of them are old Rebirth patterns of mine I had lying around when I was beta testing.

Parameter 8 is related to the edit modes of the step sequencer if I’m not mistaken. Not sure it’s really hooked up to anything in ABL3.1, I suspect it might be something that Mike just left there from previous versions just like the drive and distortion.
