A4 mkII sequencing separate CV outs?

Hi all. I’m setting up my CV outs of the Analog Four mkII with a Simmons SDS-8 drum brain. I successfully have CV A and B set to 1V triggers to play the first two sounds, which are completely independent oscillators. So the trigs and sound out is working great.

My questions is- how do you sequence A and B separately? The CV sequencer seems to play both A and B at the same time. Is there a way to sequence A,B, C, and D independently?

If you want to have 4 triggers (and no need for pitch CV) then a way to do this is to set all 4 cv outs the same with gate signals

When you are setting them up - each output can be derived from a unique track (this will default to CV) it’s under Encoder E when configuring, just press the Encoder repeatedly to cycle through the six tracks

This directs the Output of the respective CV lane to follow the trigs of the targeted track, so you can use CV/FX/T4/T3 and populate those tracks with gates - then the assigned gate CV lanes will all be independent (at the cost of two audio tracks for the purpose of sequencing)

There are loads of A4 cv configuration topics if this needs any clarification

Excellent, thank you for the clarification. That was the conclusion I suspected. I don’t want to loose the sequencer tracks for the other audios tracks. I’ll trigger the SDS-8 with something else.
