A4 / keys cv setup with mother 32

hi - anybody familiar with connecting those gear?

i was going to ask the same thing.

just got one…

also wondered about tt303 as its got cv stuff too.
and maybe beatstep and beat step pro …i’ll dig around youtube for a while.

Yup. No problem. I think the mother is ±5 volts so it’s oddball by euro standards. Very important you check this first. I don’t have the manual here.
From memory.
Warm up mom for 30 minutes.
Tune the mother so that middle c is correct then put a piece of tape to hold the tune knob still.
Hook a custom cv splutter cable up with the tip to gate and the ring to vco. Or buy the elektron part.
Go to the cv page. Funct+cv1. Set the first cv to gate and tip.
Go to the second cv page and set it to volt per octave.
Set the note to like c0
Turn the voltage to negative voltage until you get a low c that sounds right. A tuner app on you phone might come in handy.
Then set the next one to like c5
Turn the next voltage value to a voltage that gets you the right c on your tuner or sounds like the right pitch on another synth or switch your keys into midi mode and sounds like that.
Then try other octaves and see how you did. you might have to adjust and settle for a happy balance of some octaves dead on and others not.

My tt303 is cv out, not in. There is probably a MOD but I haven’t dug in on that. Xoxbox has one. Also, notblikely the same range but probably the same v/oct.
