Hmm… Do I miss something? Does A4 have an envelope follower? It can be a pretty CPU intensive feature (if talking about digital processing).
no, this is people making feature requests
Fresh from AR 1.70 update … does anyone here have say, a top5 requested features for A4? I suspect the AR outsells the A4 and I do not expect such a bumper update - perhaps 1-2 new features and maybe a UX/config refresh to bring the A4 more in line with how the Digitone works with keyboard fold, voice allocation etc? Love to see such a top5 list if anyone has it top of mind
- envelope follower
- make all arp-settings p-lockable
from AR 1.70: - scales / keyboard fold
- page loop
- slew lfos
Also modulatable note lengths would be cool.
Exactly this.
I recently got an A4 and I miss so much the keyboard fold with scales from Digitone !
man just the parameter page buttons lighting up white for where P-locks have edits on AR 1.70 would be amazing ha
mute modes, mute modes, mute modes. per pattern, per bank. limiting the analogs to mutes per project really make no sense at all. a bank has 16 patterns, and a project 8x16. who in the world wants to share a single mute state over 128 patterns of a project. it really gets in the way not to have more granular control over this aspect of the filing system. And it it just makes no sense.
What I’ve digged. In the order from the most wanted to the less. I’ve tried to be objective.
- Retrigs for notes
- Microtonal scales
- Fixes for polyrythmic patterns (one track is longer than others and switching patterns on fly can ruin your jam)
- More features for MIDI (sending required CC controls to other gear from A4 encoders)
- Wavetables (instead of a Noise as the option). This can cover many other requests like sine waves, perfect squares, triangle waves and etc.
- Looping envelopes; shaping for envelopes (curvature)
- Per pattern mutes
- SubOsc level control (if it’s possible)
- CCs for Track Mutes, Track levels
- LEDs lighting level control (too bright!)
- More FX slots (not only as Sends); more FX types
- Different modulation scales (linear/log parameter); modulation limits (to set flat regions in graphs)
- Portamento on/off (vs slides) + speed/time control
- Encoders tweaking Record/store (per song/pattern)
Hmm! Is this about concrete tracks? I’ve didn’t seen this.
Exists already.
Don’t need retrigs if you can plock arp settings per trig. Would make sense for it to work like the OT arp where you can lock settings per step, so useful in lots of situations!
Thanks! edited.
Sure, this way or another.
Arp settings and note lengths for macro/expression destinations would be sweet.
This would make it possible to use the CV track for modulating them parameters.
Arp is not P-Lockable yet. I may guess that macro and arp’s features destinations for modulations will be “in the same room”.
“Tooo-toooh…” a big A4 starship is lost somewhere in space…
of lost hopes
Being able to save locked trigs as sounds like on the rytm would be amazing.
Yeah, good one thing to have anywhere
IMHO it must be a “default option”.
