A&H Xone PX5

Didn’t see a dedicated thread about this mixer but I’ve seen there are some users on here. Could people provide their thoughts? I’m thinking of picking one up as a performance mixer for my Elektron boxes.

…i had quite a few a&h mixers in use in my sonic past…

and was never let down by any of them…

my first studio console was a classic 32 line in analog architecture with 16/16 channels split in the middle of the desk by 8 stereo busses…was a charme…

i actually have a qu pac in use for missing link between studio and stage…use it live for summing and recording on the fly…worx all fine…

and the dj mixers of their xone line are famous anyway and replaced in pretty much all clubs i see these days the old first choice pioneers…

have no truu experience with the px5, but i know the smaller version and the bigger version…
and what can i say…they’re all rock solid in sound and price…

and truuly worth the buck…no brainer…

I liked the PX5 when I had it. Good onboard fx and ability to use external send. Sound qwuality was good.

Only things that I didnt like was there is a small click when you engage the first track into the filter bus. My work around was to leave the +1 track always assigned to filter. Then any of the other tracks were fine when assigning to filter. I did contact A+H about it but dont know if this was ever addressed.
