I know the best place to ask about software instruments is on a hardware forum, but I’m lost.
I’ve got the embertone Chapman Trumpet(beautiful and realistic sounding trumpet for only $30- highly recommend) and I’d like to make sure it appears as part of my sonic arsenal in KK. Does anyone have any experience with that?
Just posting this here in case anybody else needs it down the line:
You can load the full interface of any instrument in NKS by simply (Cmd 3) or (Ctrl 3) or clicking on View>Edit View.
Once you’ve done this(in this instance, for Kontakt) navigate to your 3rd party library and open it in the full kontakt instance.
Clear all other instruments you may have loaded(ie: the preset you initially opened) and then you can save your “patch” as a user patch in Komplete Kontrol. Next time when you select your patch in KK, you’ll find your 3rd party Kontakt Library ready to go.
(To the more knowledgeable people this might seem pedestrian, but I scoured the reaches of google for this and just now was able to combine the resources of various articles.)
