3D printed VESA adapter for Octatrack and Analog Four

Just printed a VESA mount adapter. Almost perfect… just a bit of sideways movement I need to get rid of.

V1 turned out great :ok_hand: Turned dark outside while working on the project :sweat_smile:

Included a quick test strip so that you can avoid printing the entire model. It should fit the screw holes at the side.

Just saw the small test strip laying around… I remember it being 1.5mm too long… the other model should fit :sweat_smile:

Hit a snag while printing the full version some months ago… didn’t account for enough room for the sliding motion…

Also, the print took a few hours… so I was sketching a bit on the model. But certain familiar form appeared in the proces.

When I have the courage to have another designing session I will keep posting here :smiling_face:

Super nice project, if stability and bending are a problem eventually, there is a nice technique where you leave some space inside the print open and while printing drop a metal / carbon rod into the print to stiffen it.

I still use my first print, still going strong!

Some things I would like to improve:

  • Better hole positioning and format for the screws
  • Thicker sides (weak point where the side panels join the main body)
  • Clearance for the little rubber feet under the Octatrack

Otherwise, the print is a success! Sturdy, easy mountable and I kind of like the thickness of it :smiley:

I was also thinking about slanting the lower block so that you can place the Octatrack at an angle on a table/desk.
