Hi there.
I record music with the Digitone, MD and Korg Minilogue XD. This is linked to a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 1gen interface, the mix runs in Ableton 10 (the Digitone also with Overbridge).
Can you give me recommendations on the preset bit depth with which you work under such conditions? I use 24 bit, finish the mix without dither, and then master the track. (By the way, which type of Dither do you use for your finalized tracks?)
My Tracks usually doesn’t sound wrong (not all of them) but it is quite possible that I’m doing something wrong here that I don’t see. I’m looking forward for your advices
Thank you!

- Used to work @48kHz but now with a new computer I’m going to go 96kHz in the future, just because I can (and because my SQ5 runs natively @96k)
My interface supports 32bit and I record at 32bit. The internal processing of Live is 32bit, hence there s less conversion steps. My master exports are 32bit 48khz wav too.

go for 24 bit with 44,1 or 48 khz. 96 khz are not worth it, because a lot of plugins can oversample anyway. when you render to a lower bit rate (24 bit or 16 bit) always do dithering at the very last step. powr-2 works mostly fine.
