Slicing is good.
Sequencing is good.
Haven’t tested the Audio In yet since I’m focusing on the Grid Slicing.
I’m going to test the Audio In via the 2 AUX sends on my L6 and see it goes.

any recordable muting available currently?
and lastly can those pad lights be dimmed?
No recordable Mutes and yes the Pads can be dimmed.
damn, whew man if those mutes came back recordable I might have had to grab one right now lol… ok I can wait
Let me look to see what exactly is in the Mod Matrix ![]()
Excellent requests, thanks for filing them. The looper already behaves in the way you want it to, at least on my Bento.
I‘d love to dim the pads, where can I do that? Only found brightness settings for the screen so far.
@captain8: The sequencer is solid, 4 scenes of max. 256 steps per track. Each track can have a custom length of steps between 1-256, there’s also settings for different resolutions like on Elektrons. Only quantized recording though, no automation recording, no microtiming, no plocking, no conditions (only probability). You also can’t sequence loops from the loop track. No song mode. No settings when sequences will switch after hitting a new scene, the old scene always has to finish first.
would love to hear about this as well. This might have been answered before but wonder if it does act as a recorder too? Like zoom livetrack 6. Or even an audio I/O?
Bonus q: if it does record; how does it handle eurorack levels?
Friday is looking good over here: I have Midi going to the Bento via the Zoom L6 into AUM…which is sending Clock to OP-1f and OPxy:
OPZ was ace for me to sneak into my cubicle space for “brain switch” moments to then drone out to and focus on work at hand. Made a few keepers with only the internal tracks allotted.
Additionally, with there not being a screen, you would use the colored leds anywhere to know what function and intensity the dials were set to.
Beast machine
This thing looks good. But I need to come back to it when this lot is resolved.
me britches are calming…
Curious to hear how you’re using it now that you’ve moved beyond only slice tracks.
I still enjoy it, but feel like I‘m hitting a bit of a wall with only four scenes. Feels like I can only make half of a track.
It’s still very early days for me. Still slicing and dicing.
Does anybody know how the hell I’m routing specific tracks to specific outputs?
It really does kind of look like a electric bento box doesn’t it? Lol
In Tracks view select a track then tap on the burger menu in the bottom right, choose config track.
How could I miss that? I could swear this wasn’t there before
. Thanks!
