Slow fade out over time

I’m interested in an Octatrack and I’ve been scanning the manual and some tutorial videos but I can’t find my answer.

In a song/arrangement, is there a way to have a track fade out linearly over the course of one or more repetitions of a pattern? It’s fine if it’s not precisely linear, could trig locks help?

Some workarounds with limits, with lfos on volume, or playing a looped sample (or recording) with slow decay, combined with Trig Conditions or One Shot trigs in order to trig the sample once.

You can make it with one or several patterns and trig locks (p-locks = parameter locks) anyway.
