One of the six encoders has lost its click/spring back so basically when p locking etc it’s a slight pain.
Anyone in uk repair?

I reached out to a load of companies in the London area and a couple of people were willing to take a look. I’ll dig out their details and pass them on.
I decided in the end I think I will fork out the cash to send it back to Elektron even though it would cost quite a bit more as no one was actually claiming to be an Elektron specialist - I got a couple of pots bashed out in transit so I’d like them to check if there is any other damage so worth the extra for peace of mind plus the 6 month repair warranty. I am yet to get round to actually booking it in mind!

These guys now say on their site they only do in warranty repair for a few brands, none of which are Elektron. However when I contacted them a month or so ago they did say they might be able to help if I got it to them quickly, so worth calling to check.

They did some repairs on my MD & MnM but it was 4 or 5 years ago so maybe things have changed there.
There’s this guy but he’s painfully slow and not the best with returning correspondence.

This guy was the most helpful: info@resynthed.com, quoted a reasonable price and seemed to know what he was talking about! As I say, I decided to go down the official repair route (probably) though.

or you send your MD to me to germany. i’ll replace them for you for low cost, when you can order the encoders from elektron. you can get a full set for about 15 Euros btw.

Hey everyone awesome feedback. It’s sounds like either way time is what it will take to do this. I will wait to finish my album and see how much the one encoder bothered me, the way I see it is it’s added a small ism to it and I just think of it as the personality of the machinedrum.
