Thanks. I’ll print this out and post it next to my RYTM

Every Elektron box has its peculiar complexities, and for the Rytm it’s definitely the button shortcuts and combos. Thanks for listing these!

Thanks! Very useful! Didn’t know about some of the shortcuts! :+1:

Glad this helped out. Feel free to add any other shortcuts that I might have missed.

nice! just got my AR this morning. gonna print this out as soon as I get home

That’s great. Thanks for posting.

THANXX MATE! GROSSARTIG =)

Hi all

Does anyone have a copy of this cheat sheet mentioned on a dropbox? Seems like a dead link now and would find a well formatted cheat sheet to be super helpful!

Thanks, J

Agreed. Link dead. I’d sure like to see it.

I created the original guide. Will try to upload an updated version later on today.

an unlocked or editable pdf would make most sense :+1:

fwiw, when i make notes, i find it much easier to remember the labelled combos

ie

RELOAD KIT- no + fx

becomes

RELOAD KIT = Reloadi[/i] + Kiti [/i]

Thanks  for that. Useful !
Get an AR a few weeks ago (didn’t have much time to feel comfortable with, but great feeling) and a week after an OT. The OT is sleeping till i’m ok with AR

Uploaded an updated version of the original file in PDF format at the Files section.

PATTERN MODES

[FUNCTION] + [BANK GROUP] - select mode

DIRECT START RED LED
DIRECT JUMP GREEN LED
SEQUENTIAL UNLIT LED (default)

CHAIN MODE

[CHAIN MODE] - loops CHAINS of PATTERNS

EXIT - [CHAIN MODE] - loops single PATTERNS only.
Add / remove patterns to create new CHAINs
… … … … … then enter CHAIN MODE again.

[FUNCTION] + [CHAIN MODE] - will create a new, blank, scratch pad row
[CHAIN MODE] + [LEFT]/[RIGHT] - move the chain cursor
[CHAIN MODE] + [NO/RELOAD] - erase pattern before cursor or selected
[BANK X/X] + [TRIG] - new pattern selected (Create chains in quick mode)

Discovered one yesterday that is very helful!

Pattern is running, lets say track 1 is KICK, track 2 is SNARE and track 9 is HH and track 5 is BASS.
If NOT in mute mode, press trigs 1 and 2, it will mute those tracks until you release.

When pressing them, of course the relative sounds is played (kick and snare) but it will “kind of mute” those tracks until release.

I found it very usefull in a live performance.
