Once the recording is done all the flex sample tricks can be applied.
While the recording is being made you can play warped segments of any part of what’s already recorded before the recording finishes. For example if the recording started at step 1 and the sequencer is on step 5, you could play steps 4-1 of the recording in reverse on step 5 using slices or start points, while the recording continues and even if the recorder trig is a solid trig and not a one shot…
This can be expanded in to worlds of tricks…

This doesn’t work with normal trigs though. The sound just stops after a fast slowdown. Only way I can make it work is using the method I mentioned above with a normal trig and then a lock trig that reverses it.
