Has anyone changed the springs on their AK keybed?
If so, was it done by Elektron or a third party in your country?
I find mine are a too stiff compared to my Prophet/Moog/Nord key beds. It’s like riding downhill then hitting a steep uphill when going from the others to the AK.
That would be a killer upgrade to the keys.
Or, has anyone tried sticking weights under the keys?
Dodgy as hell, but less destructive than opening the AK.
Update on this:
I tried adding a few strips of lead under a few keys (completely filling the recess under the key), but it made no difference. The spring strength is too strong.
So, still interested if anyone has tried changing the keyboard or the springs to something lighter?
