HELLO, MY NAME IS JOEL DITTRICH I am an audio/visual artist and university college teacher, working interdisciplinary and experimental with audio/visual live performance and installation, video projection mapping and VJ-ing. The underlaying process includes electronic music production, motion graphics and other tasks related to videography, recording and postproduction. The result is an augmented reality experience with intermodal qualities. When I´m not working on my own projects, I accept creative and technical assignments as well as artistic, curatorial and technical direction. My ambition is to always give auditory and visual qualities equal importance, as well as continue developing the subject of cutting edge audio/visual production, by combining theory and practice. To be able to pursue this, the dynamic synergy of being both an artist and a teacher is indispensable to me.

I am working as teacher/course director at Forsbergs School for Graphic Design & Advertising, and as teacher/course director at Berghs School of Communication, and as lecturer/course director at Högskolan Dalarna University College at the Audio/Visual Production bachelor program (180 ECTS).

I am educated at Konstfack University College of Arts Crafts and Design. I studied the Teacher Program on Art, Design and Visual Culture and did my diploma work on audio/visual live performance & VJ-ing, and I also studied the course Theories, Methods & Practices. In New York City I studied The Fourth Dimension: Video, Space and The Broken Screen, at School of Visual Arts. I am based in Stockholm, Sweden and Berlin, Germany.
