Long time guitar player, Hendrix, Gilmour, Wes Montgomery, John Scofield, and so on, since late 80’s. In 1996 I bought the Roland MC 303, had a friend I met around that time that was very aware of the techno scene, a kind of pioneer… he had a huge culture of EDM, Acid House, D&B, Gabba…Was a genius at programming old TR and synths, analog sequencers, effect pedals, playing the mixing desk like an instrument.

Never stopped since, bought a lot of vintage synths (Roland Juno, SH 101, SH01, Polyvoks, Korg 700, Yamahe SY1 … and a lot more… ), all the Grooveboxes, a few Elektrons (the first Machine Drum… should have kept that one… ), recent Moogs, DSI. A real gear head.
Believe it or not, I sold everything thru the years, hadn’t the money to keep everything.
At one point my rig stayed at 3 things : the mighty Yamaha RS7000, my beloved Roland Juno 106, and a Moog Little Phatty…

I sold them 10 years ago… divorce, moved far away, had a new girlfriend which wasn’t keen on music (WTF?). This didn’t last that long… and today I’m back in the game ! I never quit playing the guitar (I play every day), and never lost the interest in electronic music. I kept hold on the new gear over the years, reading forums (this one is high quality), and the GAS never stopped… today I’m ready !
