Seriously, how can this still sound fresh to so many people when Cher did it 20 years ago. 20 YEARS AGO!??!?

Yes. Computer in between is needed :sob:

iConnectivity boxes are great for this too! Best recent addition to my rig was an mio10.

Can’t believe people are still rocking the guitar, Chuck Berry was doing it 60 YEARS AGO! :pl:

Musicianship versus non-musicianship effect as crutch that never sounded good in the 1st place. Lol. I just replaced my drummer with an 808. The 808 always shows up for practice.

A set-up we used for our last live show. On the picture, we don’t see the electric guitar.

I use Octa for live looping ultranova (synth sounds and voices) and guitar. My friend sequence in live TR8 and Volca. We use the mixer in a dub style with effects/cut/filtering.

Guitars = awesome
Auto tune = not so much

It’s a Multiclock from ERM, I normally use for studio works, but I decided to use it also for live, in order to have a very strong clock for all the machines, and avoid any thru stuff. That works like a charm.

Almost ready… still a few modules to arrive

How hard is the keyboard to program without the computer?

how many of its clocks are you using?

We use 3 outs (octa, volca, tr8) and I use the midi in OF Multiclock to control the octa (there is a great routing system on it), it allow me to loop the ultranova in midi, when I want to play with synth parameters.

Reading everyones posts here inspired me to rearrange things a bit.
I’m happy and all with this but I’m thinking about downscaling. Playing with the idea to ‘only’ keep OT+AR+AH+VirusTI2, or even maybe just OT+TI2, or just the AR.
These machines are so capable in their own and with the little time I have, I feel that just one of them would keep me exploring for a lifetime.

This evening I finished my new wall with the “drone station” (left) and “resonator”(right) as I call them
Finally solved the puzzle, which, where, what module.
Tomorrow sound check :white_check_mark:

The desk is for all kinds of standalone stuff… AR, synths etc.
Just plug them in the patch bay to the QuPac.
So happy with this.

Testing by night…

It’s interesting that there are soooooo many modulars and pure hardware setups in this thread. Not many people working in the box here?

I have a good deal of hardware but 50% ITB. I would personally feel highly limited without Live and Reaktor - not to mention Overbridge

what a great lil’ room. i’m currently in the bedroom, and it’s painful. might need to move to the laundry room.

Thank you, I know the bedrooom studio situation when I was 20 years old, fun also, sleeping with my stuff.

In fact I have a Protools set for doing all the things I can’t do with hardware.
