Squarp is a real midi beast, I own several Elektron, but Pyramid is the leader for midi things

The blofeld is a little older at this point but is still a great synth imo, especially at the price it goes for.

Reminds me of Baby Gramps!
A fascinatingly strange and funny folk singer character:

I never thought I’d see Baby Gramps referenced here. First time I saw him was opening up for the Melvins and the Jelvins (Jelloa Biafra and the Melvins), and it made me a lifetime fan. Used to try to catch him all the time in Seattle.

I have a feeling I’m a bit off to the side of the general Elektronauts musical interests, however broad they may be! For example, I love the Grateful Dead! There, I said it…

Same here. While I love techno, I actually listen to jazz much more frequently.

Here’s my little corner. I’m saving up for an entry to eurorack to fill that cabinet  after that I may or may not grab an Octatrack

Noah’s Ark of set ups

How’s the Toft treating you? They look and sound lovely, but I have heard lots of horror stories about reliability and PMI seems like a nightmare to deal with if you need maintenance.

Also, I fully support the 2 RYTM choice.

Nice minimal setup. Every time I think about selling my AKeys I remember what a swiss-army-knife it is for interfacing with all my CV gear.
Have you thought about a 0-coast? For the price, size & sound it is hard to beat. I’m also wiggling my toes into eurorack with just an M32 and 0-coast.

the toft sounds great. but it is a bit wonky some times, channels go out for a bit here and their, but ive learned to deal with it because i got it for such a cheap trade. I do need to give it some maintenance. yea two rytms is great, ive been thinking of putting together a live show with just the two rytms…

Thanks man I can’t cope with too much gear tbh. I love the versatility of the A4 don’t sell your keys! Modular is a vast vast sea though, I’m comparing between the 0-Coast, Pittsburgh SV-1 and Intellijel Atlantis it’ll probably go down to size since I want to fill a Moog 60HP case with either of those and some FX modules/random generators

If I had the space and the money I’d give it up for an OB-6 cause damn those things are sexy

Yeah, the channels going in and out would drive me nuts. We looked really hard at the toft, nothing competes on features/price but reliability is important to me. We went with SSL XDesk + XPanda. A lot less flexible in terms of routing and aux sends, and we had to get outboard eq, but it’s been solid since installation. If PMI would get their QA up, I think they would be giving SSL a run for their money in that price range

Recently added some new gear, here’s what the current basement synth-dungeon looks like:
