Im also keen to know what people do for cable management. Anyone have any tips/tricks that they’d like to share?

I like the passport sitting there on your desk.

*needs holiday, goes to the studio instead of the airport…

Yes, sorry. Since the election I now need a passport to get to Funky Town. :’(

It’s all good brother. It’s been a surreal 2016 for sure. Whoa, I just noticed your FLA poster too. Cool!

what is that stand for the Analog Heat? thanks

That is this:

I have a shelf on the bottom of it and a blank between the 2 units. Just enough room for both without stressing the USB and power connections on the top of them.

It’s just a computer monitor mount I found at work that had VESA screws in it, nothing special really. Usually we just throw them out since we mount all our monitors on desk arms.

It’s actually a framed vinyl! Ikea has frames that fit them for like $8.

Really cool design I wish I could do the same haha

My setup is based around:

modular
Tascam DP-32
bass pedalboard
Hammond SK2
2x Boomerangs (can’t really see them under the organ)
Elektron AK, AR, 2x OTs + 2x Launch Control XLs
3x mono synths

that minitaur man

wow

If I can make one recommendation, get a pair of isoacoustics stands for your mackies. You can email isoacoustics and ask which model of theirs suits your mackies the best. Then get the stands with a retrun policy (so you can return em if you don’t like em). I bet they’d work well with your setup, tilted slightly upwards.

Cool, thanks for the suggestion. I didn’t even realise they were a thing  I’ll check them out!!

Makes me want to streamline my setup

I don’t know if they are a “thing”, but in my project studio soundproofing I have found them to be an excellent bang-for-the-buck solution for improving monitoring acoustics, espcially improving midrange clarity and making bass more accurate. And since your speakers are already table mounted, seemed like a good suggestion, as you don’t seem to have any soundproofing in the picture either.
