What’s the mixer under the paper and clutter in the first pic? Chilton?

This is crazy

It’s a yamaha M1516. The circuit is pretty close to a API circuit so it’s a great alternative to buying 16 pre-amps. I don’t do any mixing on the console I just use it for the pre-amps. This also gives me the option of jamming on a load of instruments at once.

Where did you get that desktop synth rack/shelf in the corner of the room? That’s something that I need!

Looks like a 3 tier keyboard stand.

Ah, I’m seeing it now. And just boards of wood on there. I’ll have to try that. I miss standing up when I play

Yep that’s the one.

It’s a little ruff with me just putting wood on the stand to hold all the boxes but it works. I try not to spend to much time getting the perfect set up when it comes to looks. If it works I’m happy. At the end of the day it’s about making music.

wow. that’s fancy. How are you syncing it all? is one thing running as the master clock?

Also fancy posting any music? interesting to hear what you come up with in that den!

To sync it I kind of have a frankenstein way of doing it.
For all the drum machines / sequencer boxes I run a sync
from Logic into a app called Midi Pipe. That takes the one sync signal from
logic and splits it over four channels on my midi sport 4x4 that
then goes to 4 drums machines and i keep chaining the signal
to all the boxes.
For the modular I just have a midi channel from logic running
a 16 note midi clip that feeds into the midi/cv/gate module to clock it.
All the other synths just receive their own midi channel from my
midi sport 8x8. The 303 gets din sync from my novation drum station.

I hope that makes sense.

here is a soundcloud link so you can hear my music
