I love the TR8 but the 9 just sounds better. The 9 is sharper, punchier and in some ways noisier (in a good way) than the TR8

Plus, using knobs over faders makes for a much different experience.

The TR9 doesn’t have FX like the 8, but, in my opinion, the character of the 9 makes up for that in spades.

Thanks! I’ve never used the Pickup machines. I don’t know why, but sampling with flex works just fine for me, so I was too lazy to get into the pickups :slight_smile:
I record guitar into Ableton most of the time though, using Amplitube 4. Can’t use my amp in my flat :wink:

@buzz I really enjoy working with it. Except for the AR and OT everything is sequenced from the Pyramid and thats working out quite well.

I assume the assumption is that he’s not using it for anything else, which I very much doubt is the case.
