Your Setups (Part 2)

Kept the digitone OG after getting the 2?

Yes, I’ve been using it in combination with the perfourmer. For sequencing, beats, the fx and an occasional extra melodic layer. But plans or to use Tonverk to do that now, because of the midi-arp and more fx, so I might consider selling it. I just think it’s undervalued on the 2nd hand market at the moment, so might just wait for a while. It’s still a great piece of gear to have: on top of being an fx-box with reverb, delay, chorus and overdrive, a great synth and sequencer for external gear it’s also a stereo in/out audio interface. that can always come in handy. I know I can do this with DN2 aswell, but I’m mostly using that as a standalone groovebox.

What’s going into the input of the Tonverk? Sends from mixer?

It"s the booth output from the mixer. This way I can route “everything” to Tonverk. It worked with DT2 this way, but yesterday I got a feedback loop when connecting TV and haven’t figured out why yet? I wasn’t in the sampling menu, but maybe monitoring was on or I have to change some of the routing options in TV. Something to check out tonight…

Rearranging the Moog section of my studio to make room for some of the recent arrivals. I still need to cable up and get some speakers mounted on the wall on either side of the IIIP. The Minimoog sits barely visible atop a Prophet-5, tucked away behind the Polymoog.

Moog is going to have to find a new name for their “Mothership” :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: You can use the Messenger like the little remote control for the Lexicon 224.

My cousin got a broken one. Fixed it (had to actually lay out a replacement PCB for part of it, but all original parts on the PCB). His didn’t have the remote control, so he designed a replacement one, and a new aluminum enclosure for it.

I should see if I can get some pics of it sometime.

He got a broken H3000 too, and was working on that at one point. I think he ended up fixing that too. Now he’s working on… …something else… which hopefully I’ll be able to post something about in the nearish future.

Sold off my Digitone and a couple pedals, required my pedalboard with an MC8 controlling MIDI things, and now feeling good about a slightly more stripped down setup. Gonna miss the Digitone’s sparkly hifi sound, but it was being underutilized and I need to focus more on the Osmose.

Gonna rock this for awhile. If anyone needs any cable management tips, shoot me a DM :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m not judging anyone here at all, I hope that’s clear, but isn’t having a singing booth for your cat a tad disproportionate ?
