This is my flight case setup incl. the monitors.
That looks like a fun combo…
One box to keep you completely mystified, while the other is like “What do you need?”
Cheers!
Finalised my dream setup: A good balance between not having too much stuff while still have enough freedom in terms of # tracks and sound design capabilities. Will use the same setup for both song writing and live performance. The Intech PBF4 is used to imitate the scenes functionality on the Syntakt (+ quick mute and volume control). And it’s ergonomic
Nice setup, but it still amazes me how people spend thousands on expensive gear but still leave the plastic stickers on that obscure their beautiful screens.
Haha, so recognizable! First thing I do is rip off all stickers. Month ago I bought an old A4 MKI with the screen protection still on. How can people live like that?
That’s the exact reason. If I spend thousands on gear, I want to take good care of them. I’ve had the OG screen protector on my MPC Live for a couple of years ever since I bought it and it has never hampered my ability to use my MPC in any way. I’m happy to have a scratchless screen.
Haha I just noticed the sticker myself when I posted the picture here. I usually work in that room with dim lights It’s removed now!
This toy is nice and quite expensive. I am wondering you didn’t throw some money to Minirigs. I can recommend the 2.1 System. It cannot replace a real monitor system but plays quite well for a portable solution,
I put a video of my Minirigs , but don’t get fooled by the sound. It was prerecorded from the deluge output.
Nice setup! What stands are you using for your Elektron boxes?
The stand for the DT could be a Mirai Varidock VC 1201 Elektron [Mirai Varidock VC 1201 Elektron – Musikhaus Thomann]
More information you will find via the following link Varidock-System – MIRAI
this. plus often I’m not 100% sure how long I’ll keep the thing. and sometimes it ends up being like a year or two and I forget the screen protector is still on it.
I’ve never had a problem reading a screen with a protector on it. The only one I would have likely removed was the one on the Korg Drumlogue, but that went back pretty quickly so I did not need to.
For the other things, it’s a tiny boost to the resale (resale speed if not money reclaimed) and since it does not impede the view, why not.
Contrast with, say, the plastic on a guitar pickguard or something - that peels quickly and gets in the way so that has to go.
New Year - new arrangement.
Slightly bigger table, more compact wires.
HX Stomp connects secondary MPC outputs back to the mixer, so I can send everything to it and resample stuff with its great effects. Or I can use it as intended and record a guitar.
I wish I had a little more space for DT, but alas. And there are no available channels for it as well.
BTW, internal MPC speakers are just great addition to this setup.
And it’s quite simple to disconnect the MPC and use it in a bedroom with battery.
All stands are 3d-printed for this setup.
I love lamp.
Brilliant with the HX Stomp!
Very nice!!
Me too.
Found it in IKEA.
Do you really love the lamp, or are you just saying it because you saw it?
