See, now that’s looking pretty sexy.
A thousand things could be done from there, mind you; but theoretically, you could do the FH-2 thing, put a “real” keyboard either below or beside this setup, and use the skiff for a few extra synth functions.
And the tight aesthetic should help maintain focus.
Or, if you’re not a player per se, as someone else mentioned above, the skiff could be used to harbor a touch-plate keyboard, which would add a few extra dimensions of touch and CV control.
I’m liking this direction. In fact, my own wheels are turning now.
