Your opinion on my techno live set (soon i will play live)

I made a new version, slightly improved.
My plan is to make blocks of 15 minutes, containing 5 songs (grooves). 4 blocks will make an hour, the blocks help me in my structure

Sounds great to me!

If pressed for giving constructive criticism, I think tracks of 15 minutes might be on the long side, even though I like slow evolving techno. For now I’m sure it’s fine, but in an ideal world I’d like a fifth/sixth track in there if I’d do an hour.

5 songs, each 3 minutes, 15 minutes
These songs are in a group of songs with similar feeling. While playing live i dont choose a song, but a group of songs

O then I’m sorry I misunderstood. That’s pretty short then per song:)

Anyways haha, the esthetics of your music sound great!

 when I dj, I have 15-20 songs in an hour

Tnx

Amazing, that makes sense. Curious the hear after your set how you felt about the pacing. In my experience I need more time to go through tracks but I understand that your experience might be different. Where’s the gig coming up? (Online or venue?)

Around June, in a club in Nijmegen

After Some practice, Some feedback from a friend and your post in Mind, I realize 4 songs in 15 minutes gives a better experience.

Heavily bored with my own music, still 2 months to go.

Soooo recognisable.

Always such a balance between preparing well vs keeping interested in your set

…ur good to go…

sounds smooth…don’t go over an hour…play 50 solid minutes…and then let them ask for more…and give them another 15…anything more than that, is too much for a live slot…especially if ur not used to it, yet…

enjoy every single minute…so take it slow, never rush, take ur time…ur innerclock is ticking faster than the crowd, if u perform live…

hope u’ll serve a trancy crowd…if so, they’ll love it…

oh…and one more thing…seems like ur really well prepared…so, u might wanna consider the luxury, just NOT TO TOUCH ur set and gear in the last few days close BEFORE showtime…than u get best of both worlds…ur not bored already of ur stuff and it kicks in fresh again, once it’s suddenly happening out loud…

I think it’s part of the process
When you are in front of the crowd in June, you will be thankful to your former self for taking all the boredom and being now perfectly comfortable with your live set.

New rehearsal with 6 songs in 23:36 min.
I think I will go for 45. A lot to do though… happy with this new take. I hope you like, i hope you feedback, and i hope you see i do something with the feedback
