dont need functions, LFOs, etc… when you have Blocks.
ill run that stuff from Blocks to the modular. endless LFOs.
[endless…ha ha ha…6 at most from Blocks. i only have 6 out on ES-8]

its also the audio in to my DAW for the rack.

adding: ill run an elektron to clouds via ES-8 then back to DAW. ES-8 is great.

Racked my Hermod but no chance to use it yet, flat out at work :slightly_frowning_face:
Colour bugs me a little :disappointed_relieved:

I watched this yesterday, I found it incredible !

Very nice.

Really nice ! I like the way he’s using pulses to sequence the overall.

by the way, here’s the latest iteration of my modular :

Big changes here with the arrival of a new sequencer and the subsequent re-arrangement of the whole case which took me way longer than was intended… Anyway, welcome ER-101

What even is that thing?

Different machines that generate pulses. Now you can tell your friends and family members that your setup isn’t bad compared to other people then show them that video.

All that gear to do a ‘beat the clock’ that could be done on a DT.

I was thinking the same thing honestly

It wouldn’t make for such a nice video though.

It’s also not a traditional modular synthesizer. It’s appears to be test equipment. That makes it a bit more interesting.

it’s a old piece of gear from the 50s/ 60s. it’s on display at a mueseum in the netherlands. and available for people to use.

you cant see it when you listening to the album…know what im sayin.

I viewed that as more of a fun exercise. I don’t see a reference to an album made on test equipment. :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re right of course, that this wouldn’t be particularly exciting on an album, but I don’t think that was the intention.
