Your modulars (Part 1)

I have the transmit and works perfectly

Now you just need some nice ambient lighting in there

Maybe some light bars that hang off the wall over the gear.

I sold the main 4U panel, as I have some new circuits to test. Using the Vector rails and LW format will be an easier way to do that. Things are a little sparse again while I build.

current setup, mainly for percussion, ES8 will fill the hole and Keystep Pro will do sequencing.

I love your layouts! Is this full DIY?

Thanks! Full DIY from circuit design to PCB layout, panel layout, building, etc. I actually had a bit of a business around it for a while, but couldn’t keep up with demand (with wife, kids, and day job).

Liking the Salmple? May I ask how you use it in this config? Thx

The 4 audio outs of the Salmple don’t need attenuation? line level straight into the OT inputs?

Yes, I like it
Use it in a pretty simply manner, I make up kits with drum top loops or hihat loops because I suck at getting hihat sequences with any drive. And single shot percussion as well.
Another way I use it is to trigger record one bar of percussion I have made with Plonk etc and use that later on. A similar thing I did with record trigs on OT

No, the inputs on OT can handle it. The lights arent even red.

More progress. Lots of wiring to do though… :face_with_monocle: The white knobs are just to see if I like the mix. Might go back to all blue…

That looks lovely. I dig the white knobs and jacks.

Thanks!!!

I’ve done some with all white, and that looked pretty good. The mix is growing on me. I just didn’t design enough of the panels with skirted knobs in mind. (Most of my current white batch are medium-skirted…)

Here’s one I did with all white:

They keep pulling me back in!

I sold quite a few modules and pulled my Make Noise skiff off the table. Using the ā€˜logic’ that if I can’t fit it in my 7U, I don’t need it. Even considered selling the whole thing as the bang for buck is kinda lousy. Then Big City Music sent me an offer for a few new Cwejman modules. I got the VCO2RM and MMF-1s just to satisfy my curiosity since Cwejman is one of the only products where the new retail price is WAY lower than second hand prices. Worst case, I can sell em and not lose a dime, but so far they sound really great
