I’m kind of feeling glad I didn’t sell off my modular stuff after letting it sit in a corner for several months now.
Had an “ah hah, simplicity!” moment when I got a MS-20 FS last December and have only used that, my guitar stuff and Ableton since, but I’m currently not feeling an urge to be productive and the modular seems like the best option to make me sit at my music setup and get lost in experiments.
Those Buchla-TipTop modules look awesome too, and seem fun to pair with Maths and my Joranalogue stuff.
I have no point to this really, except maybe that I can understand people who try to ditch modular, only to come back to it. I tried a year ago by selling my 0-coast and ended up with 168hp of modules shortly after.
