I’m a bit out of date on Octatrack updates since the MKII dropped. I’ve refrained from fiddling with mine since it was all working for the Poisonous Birds live show.
But once again, as I reimagine how we do things live, I REALLY need Pickup machines to allow me to overdub when OT is MIDI Slave.
What’s the latest, has this been fixed, or is it likely to be fixed?

No evolution concerning Pickups AFAIK.
You can overdub with Flex, even slaved.
The principle is to record CUE (or Tx) and INAB or INCD.
Interesting, i’ll have a look at that, although i’m using Main L and R and Cue L and R as 4 individual outputs to front of house so it doesnmt sound like that’s going to work for me.
It would be mighty nice if the pickup machine worked as expected. No undo yet either I suppose?
You can use Scr3 = T1, T2, etc…
If I remember well, I set vol to +63 with default Level 108, wirh seems to correspond to the - 12db loss.
No undo. If you save your recording, you can reload it. Not easy in live conditions.
I have an simplier Rc 202 looper for those things.
